It's about time the weather turned a little nicer. It's not too warm, but at least there's sun out. At the very least it's making me look forward to my holiday. Granted, it's still a few months off, but it should all pass fairly quickly. Met with the copy editor on Thurday and I should be getting the first copes any day now. So very excited! | |||

It's been quite a busy few weeks, and it's likely to continue. The reviews have been excellent though, and I am loving every moment. The troupe is brilliant, but then they always have been, and I couldn't ask for better co-workers. This weekend is going to be busier, we're putting on extra shows, but I am looking forward to it! Still, booked a holiday for this summer, I'm thinking a week or so on the Mediterranean would be perfect. It'll have to be late in the summer, after the book tour's finished and we hit the lower season, but it'll be a lovely break. Private: Friends minus Pansy Drinks next weekend? I'm sure most of you have family stuff on Sunday, so was thinking next Saturday? Private: Adrian Do you know if there's a way to remove idiots from journals? What a nightmare of a week. Or weeks really, as it isn't over. Barely had any time, to think about things, or even update on Valentines. A shame about the potion, though thankfully I wasn't affected at all. Even so, Adrian and I decided it would would be best for us not to see each other at the moment, our schedules are just too conflicting. Things have been so hectic at work. Working on a new play at the moment as well which has zapped all of my time. The cover design should also be in any time now, and I can't wait! It's going to be perfect, really. Witch Weekly Style Maven. Who wouldn't love the honour? Anyway, I've saved the page and it looks lovely next to my mirror. I do love that dress, too. The Christmas and New Year season went over quite well. I managed to mend in time for the panto which was a downright miracle! I was so afraid I'd lose my spots, but the healers were brilliant, and I am so glad I wasn't killed, or worse maimed! I would have locked myself in my flat, but I managed to brave it out for all of my vary amazing fans. Honestly, the number of ovations I received were just so lovely! On the book front, everything is moving quite smoothly. I'm actually working on my second on eat the moment, and it's going quite well. I'd give details, but what would be the fun in that? I was going to go with red, after all of the brilliant responses to my last dress, but at the end decided on something a little more sparkly. I do look incredibly stunning in red. It's actually the colour I was planning on wearing to the Ministry party, though obviously a different dress. The colour's just so Christmasy. I'm quite looking forward to that party, it should be a lovely evening. Though that does remind me, I do have a final gift to get this week. On the book front, the cover art's been approved and I'm working on the blurb for the back. I'm so tired of hearing about muggles. Why can't we just leave them well enough alone? It's worked brilliantly for what? 300 years now? stop trying to 'fix' things that aren't broken. Is anyone else tired of hearing about the election? Honestly, I don't understand what the big deal is, it's not like the Wizengamot is about to elect anyone that's bad for us, are they? They're the ones that need to know everything, that's why we elect them. Anyway, I'm so glad it's almost over, I'm tired of everyone asking me who I would select. I'm not on the Wizengamot, so it really shouldn't matter. Besides, if it were up to me we'd have someone fit. On another note, I've been working on the Panto! It's brilliant fun, and the director's great. We just started the first showing last weekend, and there's another one tonight and then for the next few weeks until Christmas.
